More Freehiking Places Needed

“I agree with the comment about being part of nature vs. observing nature. I wish there were more places to hike nude and skinny dip. One must go to remote places to avoid confrontation.” - Andrew

  1. I think it depends on how much risk you are willing to accept. I also feel once you are 2-3 miles from the nearest parking lot or road and you are on public land you are fairly safe. I have hiked in places like that most of the time and when I did encounter textiles I would try to behave as I would if I were clothed offering a friendly greeting and continueing on my way. Most of the time I was given the same courtesy in return, occaisionally someone might feel the need to tell me to put some clothes on but most of the time they just played it off. I think your reaction will dictate how they will react.
